When Taryn was about 16 she was in a Barbazon fashion show in San Diego California. I'm not sure who these other girls are but she had a great time with them. She walked the runway like a pro and I was so proud of her. She wasn't sure after this experience that she wanted to make this a career though because of all the pressure and competition. I think we mainly did it to increase her confidence and it did that. Makes me wonder how all these other girls did with their careers in modeling. I remember how she told me some of the mothers were really pushing the daughters to model and I never did that, I just said if it was what she wanted I supported her, if it wasn't that was okay too. Whatever made her happy. It was a look into a world she didn't know if she wanted to be a part of. It's not about who is the prettiest, because they were all beautiful. We learned that being a model is so much more than looks.
