Tonight Christian, Kate, Killian, Garrison, Misty and Dean and I are going to see the lights over at Hudson Gardens. I've wanted to do this since I came here to Littleton and this year I needed to do it because Taryn has a tree there. I wish we had done this when she was alive and had this memory as a family. This is our first Christmas without her. I think it will be fun to go there and all of us need this. We've done our best as a family to make the holidays special after all it's Killian and Dean's first Christmas'. It would have been Kayan's too. He turned 11 months old yesterday, or he would have been. My daughter Taryn Elkins and my first grandson Kayan Trujillo died January 29th of this year. She developed pre ecalmsia and didn't survive it, neither did Kayan.
I think I need to see something beautiful. I had a tree dedicated to them at the gardens and I need to see it all lit up with beautiful lights.
